About Us
We are a small group of volunteers that wanted to do something to help our furry friends in Adams County Ohio. We started transporting dogs from the Adams County Dog Pound to Veterinary Hospitals and to Rescues. It's really been a rewarding experience to help these dogs, and now cats, get a second chance to have a good life in a loving home. You can follow us on Facebook and check out what we are doing and what we have accomplished!

Smokey
We took in a huge grey cat, yesterday, named Smokey. Poor Smokey's elderly Mom passed away leaving him to find another loving home. He's around 10 years old and has a silver sheen to his coat which makes him gorgeous! He's very overweight, has been neutered, and declawed. He will have to remain an indoor kitty for the remainder of his life. We will keep him till we can find him his new forever home with the right family. He's very loving and enjoys all the attention he's getting!

The Adams County Puppy Project
The Adams County Puppy Project is up and running. We transported 9 puppies that were dropped off at the pound, yesterday, to the Puppy Project headquarters where they will be taken care of instead of entering the pound. This ensures that they get the best of care while they await adoption/rescue. There were 50 puppies there last week. We helped transport 25 to rescue. Please read the article that was published on the front page of our local newspaper! Contact Christine Troutman 937-587-5452 or Ericka Burke 937-892-8331 for info on adopting, rescuing, or donating to the Adams County Puppy Project. Thanks!!
