About Us

We are a small group of volunteers that wanted to do something to help our furry friends in Adams County Ohio. We started transporting dogs from the Adams County Dog Pound to Veterinary Hospitals and to Rescues. It's really been a rewarding experience to help these dogs, and now cats, get a second chance to have a good life in a loving home. You can follow us on Facebook and check out what we are doing and what we have accomplished!

Mulberry Street Dogs Of Adams County Ohio Need Help!!!

Here's the story and description of the Mulberry Street dogs in West Union, Ohio: Adams County.

                                   Awful House Outside

On a quiet street in a small town in the poorest county in Ohio, there sits an abandoned house, covered in vines, barely visible to passersby.  The house is rotten and crumbling.  Boards hold up the front door.  Carpet covers the openings where windows had been.  The floors are made of bare dirt.  Inside the house, eight loving dogs are living alone, abandoned when their owner was sentenced to fifteen years in jail for a crime he committed twenty years ago.  Despite the criminal past of the owner, the dogs were loved.  All but one have been spayed or neutered.  They have collars with current licenses, and are being fed and watered by kind-hearted neighbors.  Some of the dogs are shy and wary, some are quiet, some are boisterous and jolly, but all are desperate for human attention. Each would make a wonderful pet if given the chance.  Any help finding these dogs loving homes or safe shelter with a rescue would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thank you!
